Our Story

Brookleigh (the brand) began 10 years ago as a hand-made, boutique handbag collection - being sold at local beach markets.  It then expanded into a successful online store (www.etsy.com/shop/brookleigh), which has been up and running for the past four (4) years.  It was this online presence that first initiated the need for photographic images - and out of necessity came beauty.  Once I began to use photography as a medium for creative expression, and not just to take stock images, my desire to do more photography was a runaway train, and so Brookleigh Photography was born.

Today, Brookleigh is a combination of many passions, but the priority focus is capturing your vision in photographic form.  Every booking is given a personal touch, and the client will always have my full attention to detail.   As an ex-veterinary nurse who worked in animal welfare for many years, I will also always ensure the safety and comfort of all animals in my studio.
